Maintenance Inspections

Within Royal Haskoning, we have a wealth of experience in the visual inspection of extremely remote sites (e.g. St Kilda, Kosovo, the Caribbean Islands, Scillies, the Channel Islands, the Shetland and Orkney Isles and the Western Isles) using a core team of highly trained and motivated Engineers.  We have considerable experience in the use of roped access techniques where inspections are complicated by difficult access and all our staff have attended training courses to enable them to work safely at heights. Assessment of High Structures

With the present high capital expenditure required to provide new radio sites it has become expedient to place new antennae on old structures.  These towers generally lack drawings or design calculations or the calculations refer to outdated codes of practice.  The client is therefore unable to progress his scheme without a re-appraisal of the towers capabilities. New Sites

Within Royal Haskoning, we have experience in the development of new sites. The work includes estate issues e.g. land acquisition and obtaining statutory approvals, and construction issues such as the design of new towers and buildings, construction of access routes, cabins, towers and their associated lightning protection systems, equipment installation into the cabins and commissioning of the sites.
